Time zone setting updated

Every time I come to the website it flips screens for a moment to "update my time zone settings".

This seems like
1) an annoyance to me
2) an un-needed usage of server processing/bandwidth

Does it do this for everyone or is there something I need to set/fix on my end in order for it to stop doing that?

I don't have that problem. In your options, what settings do you have listed for your timezone settings? Of the three options there, I guess the 'detect DST" might be the particular one to watch - i have mine on automatic detect.

I should also mention that I don't actually log out, and it remembers me, so it may be remembering some setting i set a long time ago and don't remember having to do it.

I had this problem for a while, it was related to faulty time zone settings on my laptop, which I often use to browse ENW in preference to my main desktop.
