Tim:[sblock]You hear something fall to the floor to the northwest of you.[/sblock]
Round 8: Alan appears at 95N45E5Z and zaps (rolled 28+2 touch).
Tim takes 13 damage.
"The winner, by standard victory in round 8, Allllllllllllllllllllllllllan Sssssssssssssssscot!"
"Come back next week for the semifinals, when we will have LN vs. CG and NG vs. CE."
"The Neutral Good representative will decide which semifinal occurs first."

Not surprisingly, that was Tim's best tactic. I suppose he could've gotten lucky with a faster recharge time on the stormwing.

Fast-forward: CE will forfeit to NG w/o contest (courage never been a CE strong point). Did some OOC looking on the "all the magic missiles he can use" equinal. Given his other attributes (I'll spoiler them just in case) there is really no point in running the combat vs. Alan[sblock]At will see invisibility and immunity to electricity. Will o 'wisp can't hurt him, can't run, can't hide, can't get a draw.[/sblock]
(One week later)
“Welcome back to our first semifinal match of the CR 6 edition of the Tournament of Champions! This match features the best of the Lawful Neutral forces against the best of the Chaotic Good forces.”
Making his way to the western side of the arena, this combatant measures 10 feet 6 inches tall and weighs one thousand pounds. He has a record of two wins, one loss and zero draws. Representing the forces of Lawful Neutral, please welcome the qorrashi Q!”
Q floats into the arena to the polite applause of the Lawful Neutral faction of the audience. He is a bald humanoid with noble features and blue skin that is covered with frost like a window in wintertime. An aura of sharp cold surrounds him. In a confident and powerful manner, he concentrates for approximately twenty seconds, then disappears.
“Now making his way into the northeastern portion of the arena, this combatant measures 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 94 pounds. His kind has a record of three wins, zero losses, and one draw. Hailing from the plane of Arborea and representing the forces of Chaotic Good, please welcome the bralani eladrin Whisperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!”
Whisper enters to the wild cheers of the Chaotic Good faction of the audience. He resembles a stout elf, with bright silver-white hair. His eyes are an ever-changing rainbow of hues. He carries a scimitar and a composite longbow. During the introduction, he concentrates and becomes blurry. He then concentrates again and three more blurry images of himself appear, making it very hard to determine who is the real Whisper.
Psybo communicates telepathically to the two combatants. “Q, you have the initiative. Whisper, you choose the starting positions. Now go at it!”
