“And now for our final quarterfinal match of the CR .5 edition of the Tournament of Champions! This match features the best of the Lawful Good forces against the best of the Chaotic Evil forces.”

Making his way into the arena and starting at position 115N0E, this combatant measures 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 52 pounds. He has a record of two wins, one loss, and zero draws in the main battle, losing to Neutral’s tricky changeling! He is faster than a speeding ooze, stronger than a kobold, and able to leap average-height pixies in a single bound. He is a lean, mean, frilled machine. Representing the forces of Lawful Good, straight from a sand dune to the arena, ladies and gentle-beasts, welcome a man who has never slept with the fishes, Bhuka Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasi!”

Bhuka Brasi enters the arena strumming a tune on the string of his short bow. He has deep-set eyes, a flat face with slitted nostrils, and large spreading ears. His splayed feet barely sink into the ground. A frill of skin around his throat is painted with a design of Rocky knocking out the evil Ivan Drago. As the polite applause dies down, the crowd starts to recognize Brasi’s tune - “Eye of the Dire Tiger“. Wearing padded armor and a light steel shield strapped to his back, he readies his shortbow while his trusty club hangs from his belt.

“Now making his way into the arena and starting at position 0N115E, this combatant measures 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has an impressive record of five wins, one loss, and zero draws in the main battle. His victories include one over Neutral’s former Hall of Famer dog (snicker) and his only loss came at the hands of the scary elan. Representing the forces of Chaotic Evil, please welcome the half-orc Kruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusk!”

The wild cheers of the Chaotic Evil faction welcome Krusk as he enters. Wearing studded leather armor and a javelin strapped to his back, he wields his falchion in both hands.

Psybo communicates telepathically to the two combatants. “Brasi, you will go first unless I am told otherwise.”

“Let’s get ready to ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumbull!”

Bhuka Brasi moves to 115n 15e, levels his bow, and just before firing, says "I'm gonna make you dead man, you can't refuse." TWANG!

Krusk snarls in reply, "Ivan Drago je moj prijatelj. Za taj uvreda, ti chesh umreti!", which, when translated from Serbo-Croat, er, I mean Orc, means "Ivan Drago is my friend. For that insult, you will die!" Run to 80N35E.

Bhuka Brasi's long, arching arrow sticks in Krusk's armor, but doesn't wound him. (Rolled 16-4 for long range = 12)

Round 2!

Bhuka Brasi shrugs off the delay, moves to 90n 25e (so he can see the bloodshot of his eyes...and prevent a charge) and fires again.

Krusk's studded leather adds another arrow to its collection and is starting to look like a pin cushion. But unfortunately for Krusk, this arrow penetrates his armor! (Rolled 13)

2 points of damage! Krusk has 3 hp left.

Perhaps compress? Brasi will keep 5' stepping (say, first to 80n 20e) and firing, as he's got a better chance to hit with the bow.

Round 2

Krusk's swing hits nothing but air. (Rolled 9)

Round 3:

Bhuka Brasi's arrow flies past Krusk. (Rolled 9)

Krusk's falchion finds Bhuka Brasi's arm! (Rolled 20) 9 points of damage!

Ding Ding Ding! "The winner, by standard victory after 4 rounds - Kruuuuuuuuuuuuusk!"

"That completes our quarterfinal matches for today. Come back next time when we will conduct our semi-final matches, which will be:

Chaotic Good vs. Chaotic Evil
Chaotic Neutral vs. Neutral Evil

The Chaotic Neutral representative will decide which match will be conducted first."

Pip stands up in his seat, sloshing ale onto the railing at which he is watching the combat in the Outlands Arena. He ignores the dirty looks from the dwarven enclave at the Beer Foul and speaks loudly in crisp, light-hearted, but crackling voice. "His Royal Majesty, the Anarchic Ruler of Limbo, General I2K, would like to see the other chaotics fight it out first."
