I believe that Videogames are a great a resource as anything. Though someone said it was a circle of life thing. On point. They were created to fill a market when the electronic entertainment age started. Just like Madden or Knockout kings. It's easy, non social(off line) you don't have to travel ect. A lot of reasons people like it. But they fed off RPG's at first all the kids playing DnD grew up got jobs as game designers. Wrote games wich Game masters stripped down and used and on and on and on and it will go on.
You don't like your games "videogamey" don't make it that way there are tons of systems and online resources. Use them don't just complain about the one you don't like. But thats what the internet is for is suppose letting everyone know just how unhappy you are with "x"
