Wall of Thorns...

Any creature within the area of the spell when it is cast takes damage as if it had moved into the wall and is caught inside. In order to escape, it must attempt to push its way free, or it can wait until the spell ends. Creatures with the ability to pass through overgrown areas unhindered can pass through a wall of thorns at normal speed without taking damage.

If the spell is cast in the area of a creature larger than medium, would they take more damage? If they were moving through the wall, they would have to move further into it than a medium creature.

I do not think that any creature would take more than 25 minus the creature’s AC damage per round.

there are no rules for scaling area effect spells to creatures which take up a larger area (I'd like to see it as a varient, but thats into houe rules.) Once the creature has to move out of the area, you could easily rule that makes the strength check and takes the damage every round until it's entire body is out of the area, but for the initial damage its just like a fireball - you take the same damage if you are have a face of 6 square inches as one of 30 square feet. (by the book)
