I do worry that we‘ll get a D&D movie fans vs Warhammer movie fans situation. So much fan-base culture seems to based on choosing teams these days.

I hope I’m wrong.

Well the D&D movie if it follows tradition might stink WH40k might be good.

One could so expect the D&D one to be Disneyfied and more blood and guts in Warhammer.

Yeah was discussing this with some GW worker chums yesterday.
Are there really any 'heroes' in the 40k universe, cos most movies need a hero/protagonist to " like".
They seemed to think Eisenhorn will be a way forward.
Plus they can charge whatever they like for the miniature range from it and make buckets cash like they did/do with middle-earth.
