I'd say you're playing 4e D&D, but I understand "4e D&D" to be a very different game from the earlier editions. (I say the same thing about 3e.) I don't think "different game" is necessarily a slam on 3e or 4e. Heck, Mike Mearls said something similar: "OD&D and D&D 4 are such different games that they cater to very different needs."...how am I not playing D&D when using 4e?
