My car says that the current CD is unreadable, but won't give it back to me when I press eject - stupid tray-less car CD players

Take it to a car audio place- I bet they could get it out for you, and they'd probably do it gratis to build up a rapport with a potential future customer...and if they don't, a dealership will for sure.

Actually, first of all I'll post on a car forum and see if I get any suggestions. Then Plan B will be the dealership.

I think it's feeling lonely because I just moved offices and get public transport into work now

Since I started taking public transport to work, I've been listening to Order 66 podcast. Great stuff for SWSE. I've got a long way to catch up - last week I hit the episode recorded the week that Gary Gygax died
