Some of the people I've gamed with are already pretty close to being Ravenous Bugblatter Beasts.

Back on topic.. I keep a floor under my gaming table.

There's usually nothing under the table except legs, cats, a few lost dice, and sometimes a toddler.

I usually keep my reference books in a milk crate on the floor next to my chair or leaning up against the table legs next to me.
