It's been always like that, and so it has been in all three 5e groups I played so far.

I only play on weeknights now. The games with couples that I've played in the past have always been on weekends.

Table 2 - me as dm plus 2 girls one guy

So it's somewhere between 50/50 and 75/25, depending on where the last individual would prefer to be placed, if either.

Our current headcount:
DM - male (me)
2 females (that are a married couple)
7 males

We have another female that is married to one of the male players and plays every now and then. She's a bit of a pain in the a$$ player so I don't mind when she doesn't show.
