I love both lines.

Oathbound is the only 3rd party setting that when reading it made me want to start a campaign in it RIGHT NOW.

I've loved FR since it was first released as well.

I think both settings are very creative in their own way.

I would agree. It seems very pedantic to worry about which is the most balanced. You are either going to like the setting or not. If you like it, adjust what you find unbalanced to suit your game. You don't have to use everything as is straight from the book.
