Which properties have the most Canon?

There are absolutely some soap operas with long histories, but unless it's a soap opera that got started before TV did, still pretty sure Marvel and DC have more history.

I don't know, I think roughly 260 hours of content every year is a lot. Some soap operas have been going 40 or more years.

DC and Marvel each produce several hundred individual comics per year, and have been doing so for decades. Not sure how that stacks up in terms of hours broadcast...

2. Star Wars would probably be if not at the top, then near it before Disney purchased it and made most of the material of the legend non-canon. Seriously for any other faults of the man, George Lucas was very nice for letting us play in the sandbox.

Who creates Canon?

The person who creates the work, or the one who buys it?

If it is the person who creates the work, then Lucas Canon is still very much Canon.

If it is the person who buys it, then only Disney Canon is canon.

If it can be a blend, then both can still be a thing with their own Canon. (and it gets even bigger if you include what they considered non-canon as canon...because there is a hoard of Star Wars stuff out there).
