Bundled up in her cloak and an extra layer of clothing, Lenyara shifted into her lioness form as she followed Caim and Marrgash into the cave.

OOC: In lioness form, Aspect of the Soaring Hawk.

Merri digs around in her pack after reaching the cave opening. She pulls a sunrod from the pack and holds it unlit in her left hand. She would rather not have to look for the sunrod later should she need it. She draws her rapier and follows the huntress into the cave.

Nalkyr drew his feyblades, giving them a short spin. He agreed with Marrgash's sentiment. This whole adventure had proven thoroughly unpleasant. It started well- the dance of steel had favored the eladrin over the brutish barbarians they had first engaged.

But Nalkyr was learning to fear and respect the more cunning, less physical threats. He could not parry a spell, nor deflect a charm the way he would a blade. He could not cut magic.

It, frankly, made him feel very out of his depth.

The young eladrin, though, steadied himself with a short effort of will, and followed Caim into the cavern.

OOC: Before we enter, could you clarify a couple points about the cave? Can a character with low light vision see in the cave? and would those howling winds made flying difficult for a tiny character? I'd like to go ahead and check for danger before the rest of the group enters

GM: Yes, you can see clearly with low-light vision.

The winds are howling audibly. Getting close to the cave entrance, it's obvious that a tiny creature of any sort is going to have difficulties. A tiny flying creature, even more so.

OOC: Then I think it'll be better to leave the scouting for another occasion

The fey climbs into Marrgash's backpack, geting out of it to peek over his shoulder from time to time.

Huddled close to Noctua for warmth, Ilex checks in with Luna making sure she is comfortably tucked away in a pocket of her armor. Ilex does not want to lose Luna to the howling winds. Sure that Luna is safe, Ilex and Noctua follow the others into the cave.

You carefully make your way into the cave. Thick layers of ice coat the walls creating jagged formations. You can barely hear each other over the howling wind threatens to toss you into the sharp icicles.

At the far end of the cave you see an unusual sight. Like a mother cradling her babe in arms. It would almost be described cute were the mother not a nearly seven foot tall humanoid covered in white fur with long arms that end in large clawed hands and a mouth full of gigantic teeth. The "infant" it holds is not humanoid, but rather a 5-foot long white dragon, newly hatched from its egg.

GM: Place yourself on the map, in the yellow area. Once everyone is on the map, I will roll initiative. Be sure to read the terrain and condition rules. Make sure your hit points and surges are up to date.

Lenyara gave a soft growl as she surveyed the odd pair of creatures. Would they be as hostile as the forest dwellers had been?

OOC: Placed on map. Form= lioness, Aspect = Soaring hawk. Rolled initiative, sort of by reflex (but willing to use your rolls for simplicity; 1d20+5= 23; roll Roll Lookup
