Gladiator's up

Ugh, I need to subscribe soon! Sounds like a awesome article.
Indeed. But I still have to wait for my credit card to arrive... Stupid American Businesses with their credit card fixation. ;)

(I do not get it just for the subscription - the real reason why I am getting it NOW is because I have to go to the US for a week, and this time without any colleagues that can help me out with their credit card.)

Very nice.

I like the weapon specialties, and some of those gladiator feats are pretty sweet. I think this kind of stuff is well worth $5 a month.

So all 13 are divided up into just those 3?

There are 12 Weapon Mastery Feats, 4 for each of the new Weapons (bola, net, whip). The first one always give you the proficiency and a special like slow and the other ones lets you trade Encounter/Utility/Daily Powers for special Attacks.

What I find interesting is that these new powers scales with your level so they remain interesting even for higher tears.

This Article really rocks it even makes Careful Attack/Sure Strike useful! :)

These attacks need to scale as you are unable to trade them out for better attacks at later levels unlike other multiclass feats.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that this article rocks.

I wonder, if as more and more articles come up, if En World will remain the place to talk about them if most of the readers here aren't subscribers.

As Sir Brennan says, print Dragon was discussed on ENworld plenty even though many people didn't subscribe (and often before print dragon arrived in some peoples countries).

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't continue.

I must say that I thought it was an interesting way to use the multiclassing mechanic. By now, it seems to be almost a given that a multiclass feat is basically a feat plus ([weapon] Training is basically Weapon Proficiency [weapon] plus an additional benefit, for example), and is only balanced against other (non-multiclass) feats because each character can take at most one.
