Yeah, the article is throwing an error if you're using IE (a vb script error). You can see if fine using Firefox.

Great previews all around, I'm definitely interested in P2, MotP, Open Grave and even Dungeon Delve.

Two Dungeon Delve minis announced:

- Bonechill Chimera
- Medusa Acrher (again?)

Chimera has been done before too, granted not a "bonechill" chimera, but a chimera nonetheless. It would have been nice to get a preview of something other than re-done minis.

I love the artwork previews from P2 though, makes me want to speed up the current pace of our campaign (only on H2 right now).

Argh. Argh. Githyanki silver sword + psychic lock = permanent -2 penalty to all enemy attacks, forever. And it stacks for each person who has one. Such a terrible, terrible idea.

How?

"All damage dealt by this weapon is psychic damage."

"Any target you hit with a power that has the psychic keyword takes a –2 penalty to its next attack roll."

If you hit, then that enemy's next attack roll takes a -2. How is that permanent, all enemy attacks, or forever?

Um, all of your attacks with it that hit will make enemies take a -2 attack penalty. Since penalties are untyped, it stacks with defender marks, and other attack penalty powers like Enfeebling Smite and Illusory Ambush. If you're a fighter who's accurate with his attacks, your mark just doubled in power. If your team is a wizard (-4), a paladin (who marks the target first, -6), a bard with Vicious Insult (-4), and a Barbarian (-2), all with Psychic Lock, that's a total of -16 to enemy attacks per turn, with just at-wills. Spread it out or focus on one enemy, either way that's a massive nerf for the baddies. This (balanced, playable) party could very easily make a level-appropriate Solo a trivial threat.

Something has to be done about the penalties system, this is ridiculous.

umm...marks don't stack, they override, and the -2 penalty from marking is only if you attack someone other than the one marking you. And it only applies to its next attack roll. Not that big a deal to someone who makes multiple attacks.
