so I guess familiars have been added to the character builder right? (they don't seem to be in the compendium.)

Ok WoTC, I'm liking the new updates thus far.

So on my list:

Traps/Hazzards
Poisons
Diseases
Vehicles
Planes of Existance

What am I missing... I know I'm missing stuff.

God, the glossary is a godsend! I mean, i already think the Comendium and CB rock on toast, and they add even more cool features? What should i do, subscribe twice?:lol:

I mean, to hell with an index! There are even things like "example light sources" in the glossary! And you can just go "rules" > "combat rules" and look everything up! Just enter coup de grace and its all there...

Memo to Wotc: please enter a fake entry unter "Coup de gras".

I predict 5e won't even have books.

I certainly hope not. The day I can't buy a book to hold in my hand is the day I quit playing D&D.

I like the online reference tools as just that. Tools. But when I think up new characters, or adventures to run the group through, I want something I can sit and read in bed or on my sofa that doesn't require internet access or power.

When tech companies can invent an ebook device that I can read in bed, is lightweight, can show a full size two page 8.5 x 11in spread, runs for days on a single battery charge, can hold like a million pages, allows you to upload and download content as needed, and can display full color HD resolution graphics that don't strain my eyes in the light or in the dark, then I go digital.

Then as a follow up, I predict that you won't play 5e! ;)

PS

Apparantly, the Dancling LIghtning power or something like that is broken in my CB. And in the item description on the right, the prices are not displayed correctly (e.g., always 0). calculations are still made correctly and the price is shown in the item list.

So I've got the free demo version that's supposed to have an update. But I can't get it because I don't have a sub to DDI. Would someone care to explain why they have a seperate update to a free demo that you can't get for free? Or, better yet, tell me how I can get it.
