Pathfinder 1E Things you Think WoTC should follow from Paizo

I disagree 66%.

I find little use from adventures. I've used, I think, 3 from Dungeon ever. I'm much happier with them dedicating their resources more towards crunchy books.

And I'm very, very, very, very... well, let's just say ecstatically. I'm ecstatically happy with the way they're doing campaign settings. Allows them to explore more campaign settings without getting a glut of competing products.

Well, since you have been playing for like 5 years, I am obviously right, and you are wrong. That's like a law of nature, or something. ;)

I do want to note that I do not run adventures. That's not why I want more. I just love reading them, and nothing inspires me as much as a great adventure.

Why complain that WOTC isn't doing inspirational material as well as Paizo when you can just buy inpirational material from Paizo?

Paizo will gladly sell their flavor books to whoever wants flavor.

Off the top of my head as someone who's not really a 4e player? Bring back the .pdfs. You tried the whole "NO PDFS EVER" thing, yeah, but look, piracy hasn't decreased at all, and all you've done is driven some of your fans into needing to be pirates. .pdfs are just amazingly convinient, and they don't cut into your physical book sales, so bring the damn things back. Paizo gave you a black eye with their $10 Pathfinder .pdf.

This goes along with the pdfs - bring out of print products, if just in pdf form. Right now if I want to get an out of print book, my only option is to pirate it. You're in a state where you can make money off people without having to spend any, and it's a product that nobody else is selling. Seriously.

The only thing that comes to mind is for WotC to create a fresh, new campaign setting, but in the same level of detail/support as Forgotten Realm and Eberron.

Oh, and I guess I kind of like the idea of a daily blog.

That's all I got as I have no real interest in published adventures. I'd rather WotC produce setting-neutral products that I can incorporate into my homebrew.

Nothing. Emulation is a poor way to proceed. Don't follow, get out and lead.

But where should they go? Is it the same place as Paizo is trying to go? Perhaps, perhaps not. To succeed they don't have to go to the same place.

Yeah, I agree. If WotC wants to continue to lead, they have to innovate, set the trend, be "in-the-now", think outside the box, and every other business cliche that I can think of. Really, leaders never follow. Know thy customer and give them 100% better.

After the PHB3 (perhaps before) is released, I have my crunch needs covered, by far. From there on, I would much prefered if WoTC spent their energy making the coolest settings and adventures (paths or not) to be released in dead tree format!

Which means, ditch the future PHB's and power source books (after Primal Power) and instead invest time and money in more books detailing either campaign settings, or places you can use for your own settings.
Will you continue to buy crunch books?
Your preference is quite clear. But I'm curious if you will continue to buy crunch product as it is produced.
Your being "covered" implies no, but I know I've bought product for the joy of reading it without really expecting to use it at the table.

And please, Wotc, by all that is holy, don´t create another stock high-fantasy world. Publish those you have in your vault? Yes. Create something new and exciting? Yes. Go the Golarion way? No. And i don´t mean that as a dig at Golarion.

Sadly, yes. I will probably continue buying crunch books. But it will be to read only. Things like the Wilden (PHB3 race) will never be part of my campaigns.
