James Jacobs (Editor-in-Chief, Pathfinder),

Hi there, all!

So in several of our products, we mention weird new monsters that don't yet have stat blocks. In some cases, like the linnorms from the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, these monsters might have stats from closed-content d20 sources, while in others, like the d'ziriaks of the Shadow Plane in "The Great Beyond" have no stats at all yet.

I want to eventually make sure that all of these monsters have stat blocks in some place... but before I start to address that, I need to collect them all up.

SO! If there's a statless monster from ANY Pathfinder product you'd like to see stats for, post it here! When you do, please post the monster's name, the book it is mentioned in, and the page number it appears on in that book.

Thanks for the help, all!

If they mentioned a monster and no one cares enough about the beast to mention or even remember it, why should they go to the trouble of statting it up in a future product?

It's got to be nice having the masses of gamers do the grunt work for them. :D

Actually, it IS nice. Just as it's nice to hear ANY kind of feedback about our products. To be honest, the level of interaction we have with our customers is one of Paizo's not-so-secret weapons. As it turns out, if you involve your customers in your products beyond the "selling it to them" stage, everyone's a lot more happy.

So let's hear it! What monsters have we mentioned in Pathfinder products that don't yet have stats that NEED stats? :-)

Cool. Turn them all into a Bestiary 2 book. ;)

A lot of planar critters. ;)

If someone were to provide me a complete list of the various planar monsters that got mentioned but not statted up in the Great Beyond... that would be an example of awesomeness. Cause I might miss one or two if I did it... Just sayin'. :P

What a great idea, James! :)

So let me get this straight: you are *not* accepting suggestions from non-Pathfinder products, correct? Because the top three monsters that instantly come to my mind would actually be templates from from 3E monster books, and I would *LOVE* to see the whole 'Advanced Bestiary' from GR being converted to PF RPG (the way I see it, well-designed "generic" templates such as, say, 'Fire Creature' or 'Mummified Creature' or 'Pseudonatural Creature' are the best possible tool for GMs to tinker and add variation to monsters).
