Hobbit casting? Make sure you use a high-quality paper-mache to make your initial mold. And don't forget air-holes!

I'm a little concerned about del Toro. I love his stuff, but I'm not sure how he'll handle the less phantasmagoric elements of the story.

Interesting if true. I do agree that Toby Maguire doesn't really have that twinkle that Bilbo needs. (I am not sure I could have predicted ever using that expression.) However, rumormongers who protest so strongly to detractors regarding their accuracy but use phrases like "It's basically unprecedented." tend to lose my faith.
