Do you know of a great FLGS?

Well, I've just discovered something very cool about the software we're using.

I can create an unlimited number of categories, and you can select which category you view on the map. So I've set up Game Stores and Games Workshop.

But the cool thing about this is that the system can handle almost anything - why not a category for convention locations? Or RPG clubs?

RPG clubs could be very useful. I'm not as sure that the map and pin display makes as much sense for conventions, when the when is as important as the where but I suppose it could be nice to see a map showing all of the places that conventions are running!

You could also add places where people go to LARP so we can hunt them -- er, for those who like that.

Well, you could look at your location and see that there are a couple of conventions within 100 miles or so, and one about 25 miles away. You then look at them to find out when they are, along with more details.

I tried to enter another store for Colorado Springs, but they don't have a website — and the form wouldn't allow me to submit without a website. Is the correct? Are stores without websites not to be included in the directory?

you have to replace the default http:// with "none", and it accepts it.

I've added the two Newcastle ones I know about (Travelling Man and Forbidden Planet). Will be interested to see if any more pop up in the North East of England.
Hey Russ, there seem to be a problem with each of these. Seems to be with the mapping.

I can see the entry for Forbidden Planet Newcastle on the list of shops, but it's not appearing on the map.

Travelling Man is in the wrong place on the map - it's shown right in the middle of St James' Park, instead of on Grainger Street. Whilst I'm sure many visitors will be wanting to visit St James' now that we're back in the Premiership, they will have difficulty buying RPGs there :)

Yeah, so I see. It doesn't seem to like Grainger Street for some reason!

I've positioned them both manually on the street, although I had to pick a random location for each along the street, not knowing where in the street they actually are.
