Systemless Sourcebooks: What's Good?

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
I have a few systemless sourcebooks (*), but I'm wondering... what else exists?

I've heard that Hârn and GURPS can be considered systemless, depending on who you ask.

I'm mainly interested in city/town books, generic adventure sites, and NPCs with interesting backgrounds. I want stuff that I can fit into my homebrews, easily.

Is there anywhere online that lists all the various types of systemless sourcebooks?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Freeport is systemless and it and the suppliments have been top notch. THe old THieves World box set was not system less but was written for about a dozen different systems so it is close. The Magical Medival Society books by XRP are really well done and have no or very little system type things in them.

As I noted, I have the systemless Freeport books. I also have a couple of the XRP books. I forgot about them. :)

How hard would it be to get the Thieves World boxed set?

There are the old Citybook supplements by flying buffalo.

Catalyst

Scroll about a third of the way down. They have individual shops and buildings complete with NPC's and background.

Looks like they are still for sale.

As noted above, I have two of those books. I am definitely intertested in getting the other books in the series. ;)

I'd recommend the Central Casting series. They are three books that help you generate a background for your character or npc.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I found this link.

I'm assuming the third book is for historical (or fantasy) roleplaying since the two listed are for present- and future-based roleplaying.

A quick look at ebay showed a couple of them for sale. I've got three copies myself and while it has never been common it seems that there is always a few for sale there and other places like Noble Knight and Troll and Toad. The modules and supplements are a lot rarer and harder to find though.
