I pre-ordered this at my FLGS precisely because it supports the gaming community by having a kick-ass play space as well as a beer and wine bar... Go Guardian Games! Go Critical Sip (the bar)! Go Beer & Pizza night tomorrow! W00T!

Shout out to Angel for running the best game store I have ever known...

What?!?! Beer and wine bar? Beer and pizza night? That is so awesome!

I really want it. I don't know that I can budget it without knowing for sure I'll get to play it regularly.

But, I can still desire it, oh yes.

This is exactly how I feel. I want it a lot, but it's hard to justify an $80 purchase for something I would only use a couple of times at most. I have had both Ravenloft and Ashardalon for months and the shrinkwrap is still on them.

From a quick study of the rules CoN doesn't seem to be very interesting as a boardgame. It looks like a typical Risk+ game which would be shelved after the very first game, queuing behind several hundred more interesting games.

Better to spend my money for a nice dinner during our vacation in France!

that's my point. Risk costs $25. It has to be a really interesting and replayable game to cost 3 times what Risk does.
