What setting would you like to see as RPG?

Temeraire would be awesome! I would love to see that setting. The different dragons, uses, and gear.

During aerial fights, I think the best way would be to have a player as either the dragon or the captain. In a 4 person party, two captains and two dragons should work. The captains can make rolls for the whole crew while the dragon flies, fights, and defends itself.

Anyone think Sapphire and Steel could be made an RPG and how would you do it?

"All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic, heavy elements may not be used where there is life. Medium atomic weights are available: Gold; Lead; Copper; Jet; Diamond; Radium; Sapphire; Silver and Steel.
Sapphire and Steel have been assigned"

I often find that sci-fi shows that get cancelled early in their run make for good candidates for a setting - there's enough material out there to set the scene, but not so much as to be prescriptive. And there's often quite a lot of potential in the setting that they haven't had time to explore.

Odyssey 5 would be perfect for this. Five astronauts are in space when the Earth explodes, and their consciousnesses are sent back into their old bodies five years in the past by an alien traveller in order to find out who destroyed the Earth and stop them. The game could have multiple suggestions for possible causes, and a huge part of the game would be knowing what had happened to you the first time around being able to make different choices (at least before what they do differently starts to cause more and more things to go completely differently).

Temeria, from the Witcher novels - that would make a fantastically dark fantasy setting.

Also a Magic the Gathering setting... This is anecdotal, but an acquaintance who is an organized play coordinator for Wizards asked a bunch of us if we'd be interested in a hypothetical Magic the Gathering playtest beta.
