Canada declares war on Santa

This is interesting. If I were forced to choose who the North Pole belonged to I'd have to give it to Russia. The Pole's most famous resident is known to only wear red - Commie Red. It's obvious what country he's aligned with. Plus all that giving gifts to everybody unless they're 'naughty' (read: unfaithful to The Party) stuff seems pretty 'to each according to their need' to me.

Canada hasn't declared war on Santa Claus; he's lived in Canada for years! Our post office delivers letter addressed to him every year. We even gave him his own postal code for letters! H0H 0H0

So is about to be deported then?

Actually it is Coca-cola Red and White, so Capitalist Red*. Also he is spying on people all year round, so clearly works for the NSA. Edward Snowdon leaked the information need I say more, Snow Don, the Don of Snow, clearly an alias pointing towards the true villain of all the spying.

*Okay so technically this is just a myth.

He is sort of a native-immigrant?

Canada became a country in 1867. Details of Santa Claus' appearance and residence were becoming known by 1823 and definitely detailed by 1863. Mr. Claus can be traced back to the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and England. He's definitely non-native.

He is a native of the North Pole. What changed is globalization, it increased the range of his toy distribution scheme.
