We have just received solicitation notices from our distributors for the D&D Next Starter Game, $19.99, with a street date of July 15, 2014. No mention yet of the PHB or any other D&D products.

That was the title used by the distributors for the solicitation. I don't know if that is the title used by WotC, or if that tile was just used so we retailers would know what the product was. I will be contacting my sales reps for more info when they open tomorrow.

Damn I sure hope they get this right this time. If this is another "levels 1 and 2 only, one crappy adventure, no character creation rules, and plenty of errata" debacle like almost every other starter set Wizards has ever made, I will be genuinely depressed. I tend to get excited about starter sets for some reason.
