Let's review:
Man of Steel: Not bad, especially with that Hans Zimmer soundtrack, just not as good as it should be.
Batman v Superman: A hot mess, but I think at this point it is somewhat underrated. Ben Affleck was better than expected. Too bad Doomsday was just boring.
Suicide Squad: Blech. Just didn't work on so many levels. I mean, who really wants bad guys as superheroes?
Wonder Woman: Sort of the reverse of BvS - A good movie, but maybe not as good as the hype. Still, this is the cream of the crop of the DCEU.
Justice League: I remember watching this, but I don't remember what I watched. A movie that was supposed to be DCEU's Avengers totally flopped by being so forgettable.
Anyhow, DCEU keeps cranking them out and hoping to strike gold (again, after WW). Not sure this movie is going to be it.

It seems like this movie studio simply does not know how to make movies. They had one lucky hit with Wonder Woman, which probably was more of a surprise to them than it was to us.
It seems they are mostly just throwing money at the screen in the hope of repeating that success, and trying to copy the Marvel movies. But surely they don't have an infinite pot of gold? At what point are they out of money?

^No idea the answer to that, but one would think that they can only churn out so many more disappointments before calling it a day and shelving DC indefinitely. Keeping Wonder Woman going is a no-brainer. But the others? I guess they're going to try and see what sticks, but I have no idea why they have a Suicide Squad 2 planned.

Were any of the movies actually losing them money? Or are they just disappointing compared to the money maker the Marvel movies are?
They all made plenty of money. Ignoring the occasional billion-dollar outlier these days, the half-billon and up each of them made is a massive amount for a movie. Very few movies make that much.

Worldwide the 5 movies have made $3.7B between them. They aren't going to run out of money.
