CHALLENGE: Describe your character using only three details. (You get the usual race/class/gender for free.)

This comes from a writing exercise I learned back in undergrad. Three details is about how many items a reader can fit into their head after a first impression, and the same holds true in the oral landscape of the tabletop. If you choose wisely, we should get a coherent picture of your PC and their personality.

Like the title says, you get the usual race/class/gender stuff for free, so feel free to get specific with the other items. All clear on the ‘three details’ thing? OK then. Go!

(Comic for illustrative purposes.)

Female Scorpion clan Soshi Illusionist (playing Legend of the Five Rings)

Recently married into a backwater family.
Delusions of grandeur, so she was persuaded to accept the arranged marriage because she thought it would give her a chance to rise in power easily.
Haunted by her dead swordsman brother, whom she always wanted to be better than.

Or are you looking for physical details specifically?

Okay.

Gnome Rogue/Wizard: Swordmaster. Polymath. Post-Traumatic.
Had to struggle a bit on him, mostly on the last one, but I think that captures him.

Shadar-Kai Monk: Investigator. Veteran. Bipolar.

Halfling Rogue/Former Revenant Hexblade: Competent. Aplomb. Terrifying.

Goliath Fighter: Dad. Nurturing. Lethal.

(Star Wars) Human Scoundrel: Traumatized. Prodigy. Lonely.

Never keep a deal I can worm my way out of.

I appear oily, and smell like the soot that graces the alley when the furnaces go cold after the workday.

My hands and smile are spread wide for you, revealing a shining silver tooth under my tilted black cap.

Leonidas el Rey

Half-elf, male, swashbuckler/battlemaster

1. Deceptive (Charlatan background, no one knows he is a half-elf except the DM. Uses hat of disguise to pretend to be a tabaxi or infiltrate places he is not supposed to be in).

2. Self assured (He is the greatest swordsman who ever lived!)

3. Panache (Likes to do things with flair. Even if it is killing Xanathars goldfish with a dagger toss in front of Xanathar himself....true story).

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Here's a few of my more memorable recent characters.

1. Fearless, silver-tongued, snarky.
2. Painfully earnest, knows-his-station, roundly competent.
3. Loyal, faithful, drill-sergeant.
4. Inexorable, henchman, solid.

And there names ... not in the same order.

A. Measure, warforged primal defender [4e Warden in Eberron]
B. "Corporal" Droozh of Athena's Legion, Loxidon soldier [Cleric of Order, Greek reskinning of Ravnica] ("Lochias" actually, but it's equivilant would be a corporal for this game)
C. Garreck Houndsman, human warden and archer [Ranger (Hunter) in FR]
D. Jillian Briarfoot, halfling herald [Bard (Glamour) in homebrew setting]

If you'd like to play a game of trying to match them, go ahead. It's interesting in that I'd partially misassign them myself if going by most likely stereotype.
