Polynesian doesn't work well by itself, and Sāmoan doesn't seem to provide good results either. Tahitian seems to work best. Haven't really tried Māori yet. (I don't want to get too specific lest I veer into cultural appropriation territory.)

How about going broader, and using Malay?
