D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

Ran into similar early on. Steel Plate? Nope, blocked. Full Plate? Fine.
Yeah it's weird, I reported that it should be fine so hopefully the generator will get better, until then I think many of us will be asking to generate the same thing but slightly different.

Oh for sure. I have prompts I've adjusted dozens of times to change tiny things.

Before they put a stop to that with all this waiting around for Boosts anyway.

Ok, Bing users I have a work around for the 380 character limit, don't use the create section of Bing! You need to start a chat and either give it a fully formed prompt or ask it to create a prompt from a natural language request and it will access DALL-E directly from there. It will use one of your boosts each time you create a set of 4 images, but you can chat about it before you pull the trigger and create the image. There seems to be a word count limit on the chats, but if you have the prompt, just cut and paste to a new chat and start again.

I generated the following images in Bing with the following prompt: Create a prompt for Dall-E for the following. Medium: Oil painting, Subject: A lone Knight traveling on muddy road mounted on a warhorse surrounded by forest. Early morning with mist rising from the ground, Colors: Blues, Reds, and Gold tones for the knight, dingy natural colors for the plants surrounding the road.

OK OK, last ones for the day (I had 500 points to turn in for boosts).

The Twin Gods of the Goblins, Mir and Ic! I wanted to have her be a little less cute, but it wasnt working out and I ran out of boosts to iterate. Ic however, we got him in 1 lol.

Next of the Dwarf Gods (to be finished tomorrow) the absolute unit, God of the Forge.

Anyway, in honor of Halloween here's the Dead Three

I used a stand-in name to avoid ... prior complications
Bane.jpg

Concept bleed gave him talons in addition to a bird mask, so let's just pretend the picture manage to catch him transforming from the Slayer into the Ravager.

Also, their occasional allies, Loviatar and Talona

Surprising no one, Loviatar was a really difficult prompt. Five tries got the Unsafe dog, and multiple tries came out as too photorealistic to match the "high quality digital fantasy painting" style I've been using. Even this one I'm not completely satisfied with.

Talona was another tricky one, ironically because the unsafe flag didn't fire - the first round made Talona nude in every result. I then asked that she be in brown rags, but even then the program was pushing it.

Finally, since this will be the only post where he'll make since, here's Bane's son

Here is a collage I created by having Bing Chat prompt me about the Medium, Subject, Background, Color, Light, Angle, etc. of an prompt I wanted to create for DALL E and then asking it to create the image from the generated prompt.

BING CHAT GENERATED PROMPT: A collage of paper with a mix of cut, torn and folded layers, depicting a D&D dwarf with a shiny axe raised above his head, held by both hands, in a mine shaft dungeon. The dwarf has a furious and fearful expression on his face, and his clothes are ripped and bloodied on the left side. The collage uses a duch angle to create a sense of tension and movement. The background is dark and contrasted with the foreground, which is lighter and more detailed. The mine shaft is lighted by lanterns and buttressed by thick timbers, and has some elements of danger and mystery, such as skulls, rats, or traps.
Characters: 492, well beyond the 380 character limit imposed from the image create screen.

NOTE: If you hit the max capacity of the chat during the conversation, cut the generated prompt from the old, past into the new and ask it to ask further questions with suggestions to help refine the prompt. When you are stratified with it, ask it to create the image. A little more work but a great way to help you create a longer and more concise prompt.

Its the "ornamental" adjusted. The other 3 in the set didnt turn out as well, just lucky on that one.

Ornamental Watercolor depicting a Brutal, savage, aggressive, menacing male warrior in full armor. His armor is dented, bladed, brutal and dirty. The backdrop showcases a ruined fantasy battlefield with smoke and fire with a skyscape full of stars and nebula. The artwork embodies the essence of the Art Nouveau movement, using delicate lines and blended colors. Looking at viewer.
Thanks. I used 5 boosts with this prompt, swapping out the brutal warrior for my elf ranger, but only got a few that are half-way decent. Nothing as gorgeous as what you and @cbwjm have been getting.
