I prefer the attack matrices of 1e to the THAC0 of 2e. I know that the math is the same, ultimately, but THAC0 is super unintuitive for me and I still bounce off of it pretty hard all of these years later.
I think the numbers are fiffrrent on both tables iirc.
Yes. The values on the player character matrices and monster matrices are different.
No tge 1E and 2E fighter numbers are different iirc.
Oh, yeah. A bit. But not meaningfully, IMO. The big thing for me is that the matrices are just easier for me to use in actual play.
