Some people in this thread have clearly indicated that AI is a thinking sapient thing ala HAL 9000. Ignore them.
I'll pick the fights I decide to, thanks.

As long as they are not ripping off someone else's IP or work, I don't see a parallel. What about creators that like to share their files for free?
That was a joke, related to the idea of combining Peppa Pig and D&D.It’s not, he was talking general Hasbro there. and there is no indication he plans to do anything with AI and WotC. He just says he’s optimistic about AI in the future.
I don’t think anything AI related to D&D will happen for a while. Particularly since WotC themselves are not interested.
Okay? Really don't think that required a clapback, but go off, I guess.I'll pick the fights I decide to, thanks.
The equation between computers and golems is Jewish enough.Given ridiculous and unnecessary defensive bonuses and an arguably religious insensitive name?
But will AI have sweeping (and unnecessary) spell immunity? The earlier golems lacked the capacity of speech. Soon the AI golem will have speech.
Okay? Really don't think that required a clapback, but go off, I guess.
But I'm not going to consent to being one of those fights you pick.
We've had the whole of human history to learn this. The likelihood of us suddenly learning this in the next decade or so is effectively zero. The next decade being important because if we don't learn compassion and act immediately to minimize climate change, the environment dies and takes us with it.The way I see it. Humans will either learn how to be compassionate, or the human species will go extinct. There is no in between.
I suspect humans will learn how to be compassionate. Especially. As the consequences of the lack of compassion become increasingly obvious.
I feel there are two ways that the human species will learn how to be compassionate:We've had the whole of human history to learn this. The likelihood of us suddenly learning this in the next decade or so is effectively zero. The next decade being important because if we don't learn compassion and act immediately to minimize climate change, the environment dies and takes us with it.
Regarding climate change. It is reality. In Norway, we see it happening with our own eyes. We've had the whole of human history to learn this. The likelihood of us suddenly learning this in the next decade or so is effectively zero. The next decade being important because if we don't learn compassion and act immediately to minimize climate change, the environment dies and takes us with it.
