Trailer KRAVEN - New Trailer (HD)

Doesn't Sony still own the movie rights to Spider-Man? Even though he's in the MCU, don't they need Sony's approval to put him in their movies still, or am I wrong?
The new deal is for Sony Pictures and Marvel to share rights, with Sony continuing to own and distribute solo Spider-Man films (including Spiderman supporting characters/Rogues), Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures distributing films where Spiderman appears with other Marvel characters (like Dr Strange)

The catch for Sony is that Disney gets to have creative input and % share ifSony use live action Spiderman AND theres a 5 year lapse time if they dont produce a movie - which is why we are getting all these Not-Spiderman 'Villain' movies, so Sony can keep milking the asset without having to pay out to Disney.

OK I get it now. Great I can't wait for "the Enforcers" movie, better save my pennies.

Apart from Sony is so inept at milking that they end up putting more money into the cow than they get out.

Defintiely been some really terrible Spider-Man villains over the years, so definitely a wealth of material for Sony to waste their money on. In all honesty this Kraven movie looks pretty bad; I couldn't even tell what the plot is supposed to be about.

They should do one without spiderman about the Hobgoblin. There's enough meat to chew on that one with struggles over the costume, struggles of who is the real hobgoblin, and enough political intrigue between the Hobgoblins, Jack O'Lantern, the Rose, and the Kingpin to fuel at least a small trilogy of movies if not more without even touching ole spidey...

And they can all be bad guys as well.
