I was able to check out using PayPal.I'm not entering in credit card information for a $0.00 order.
The first 12 days are for joy and cheer. The other 12 days are for layoffs.Right, but Advent is meant to cover the 24 days before Christmas ... whereas the "12 Days of Christmas" is specifically Christmas Day plus the 11 days afterwards. So doing a "12 Days of Christmas" leading up to Christmas is something else.
It seems to be a newish trend. My wife was looking for Advent Calendars for our daughters and was having trouble finding the standard 24-day ones. Mostly she was seeing 12-day ones.
For a $0.00 order, why should I have to disclose even that, in the year 2020?I was able to check out using PayPal.
You shouldn't. No one here, though, has the power to change that. For a $0.00 order, why should I have to disclose even that, in the year 2020?
Didn't they say they were having a problem with the website? I don't see a message about it now, but could have sworn there was one a few days ago.For a $0.00 order, why should I have to disclose even that, in the year 2020?
You don't have to, they just want you to use their ordering system in exchange for free stuff. The point is for you to go through the process if a normal order, so you are more likely to do so with money in the future. If you don't want to give them money at any point why would you be their target market...?For a $0.00 order, why should I have to disclose even that, in the year 2020?
I have to "buy" free stuff on sites like DMs Guild / Drive Thru RPG as well. I'm not sure why people are making such a big deal about this. Is it just anti-WotC sentiment?
Yeah, that's true. All of this stuff has previously been available on the D&D Beyond website with a simple "claim" button. I'm not sure why they're doing it all through the marketplace this time. Maybe it's easier for them to keep it all in one place this way? From me?
Naw. It’s that I never had to do this before. It’s not a huge deal, I’ll just pass on it. It’s just annoying. I didn’t have to do this for years and now I do.
