Yeah, that's not even "natural language". It's just garbled.BTW, new word of Split which Pudding and Jelly got is entirely un-human-understand-able. Does the new ooze spawns with the Bloodied and trigger their Split?
I'm not struggling with the wording.BTW, new word of Split which Pudding and Jelly got is entirely un-human-understand-able. Does the new ooze spawns with the Bloodied and trigger their Split?
The split is triggered when the pudding drops to half hit points or when it is hit by lightning or slashing damage, provided that it is it at least medium sized and has at least ten hit points.Monster Manual (D&D Beyond version) said:Split.
Trigger: While the pudding is Large or Medium and has 10+ Hit Points, it becomes Bloodied or is subjected to Lightning or Slashing damage.
It splits into two smaller puddings, each with half the hit points and the same initiative as the original.Monster Manual (D&D Beyond version) said:Response: The pudding splits into two new Black Puddings. Each new pudding is one size smaller than the original pudding and acts on its Initiative. The original pudding’s Hit Points are divided evenly between the new puddings (round down).
Yeah, but it doesn't show up what's their Hit Point Maximum.I'm not struggling with the wording.

I believe they released errata correcting itIs the Carrion Crawler "infinite save fail loop" with Dexterity save paralyzed (changed from Con save in 2014) confirmed as an error?
They won’t split again if they get split because of becoming bloodied. Cause the new puddings would be bloodied by default and not have a chance to become bloodied. At least by my reading.Yeah, but it doesn't show up what's their Hit Point Maximum.
'Each new pudding has hit points equal to half the original pudding's, rounded down'
Old words are clear that the new one has that much Hit Points, and the Maximum should still be the same as their Hit Dice are not changed.
The new word only said 'divided evenly between...', so I think they're same.
If the Maximum does reduced, and if there is a 20HP pudding split itself, new ones got 10HP for sure but are their maximum 34 or 10? If it's 34, their HP is still 10 and Bloodied, Does they trigger their Split? If it's 10 how to figure out it's Hit Point Dice?
