Ooh, Trade Secrets could be cool. I’m guessing that the characters I keep seeing in KP products are your iconics, right? Do they have names?

I hope to see a KP version of Unearthed Arcana someday!

There are absolutely Kobold Press ionics!

They each have a name, class, background, etc.

They're called the Valiant 6 (from the Tales of the Valiant Player's Guide)

And the new Valiant 6 (from the Tales of the Valiant Player's Guide 2)

I keep trying to have money and KP keeps making awesome products to take my money. :)

In addition to what Marc said, the 3 on the cover of Vault of Magic are the same 3 that are on the cover of Trade Secrets. As far as I know, those are not the same as the ToV iconics. But they do appear often.

For another really cool art thing that I wish KP did more often - the covers of the Player's Guide, Monster Vault 1, and Game Master Guide tell a (short) story

Yep, the covers of Player's Guide and Monster Vault definitely tell a story together!

I actually talk about this (and the organic process behind it) in The Art of Kobold Press (which I understand is now in rather limited supply)

That was a neat blog post. If I had to guess - Daggerheart. Over in one of their threads they were lamenting the lack of monsters in their system so I could see a port of the KP Bestiaries over to DH. (That's what I commented in that thread yesterday) But now that I think about it with a little more creativity - here are my wild guesses:
  • Pathfinder 2e - as we learned in the 20 years blog posts, KP has a history with PF. So bring them back into the fold, especially with The Labyrinth providing easy paths between Midgard and Golarion. (And maybe Akiton and Castrovel)
  • Daggerheart - it's the new hotness and doesn't have too much 3rd party content yet. Good place for KP to jump in and become THE 3rd party
  • Some other 5es - requires the least porting of ToV and D&D content - Shadowdark (I think?), A5e, others I'm forgetting
  • Nimble v2 - evolved from D&D, so maybe not too hard to port
  • Draw Steel - essentially 4e+ or 4.5e. Maybe it fits well as a sidestep for a company that has been involved in D&D 3.5, PF1e, and D&D 5e.
