GAG unite! We march in the morning!

Colonel Reginald Doffpiddle: Sir! My unit is here, 500 of Freehold's finest Hampstire Lancers at your service, sir! As well as my best siege engineer, Pennywick!

Pennywick: Allwayzz happpy to help, ss-ssir!

Reginald (loads his smokepistol)

Reginald: Ready, Buckminster? Charge!

Buckminster: SQUEEEEEK!!!!!!!

:)

On a more serious note, it's time I lodged my two biggest complaints about Gnomes in 3e and 3.5-

Why in the heck do they have a +2 to Con and -2 to Str, rather than a +2 to Int and -2 to Wis, which would have brought them in line with their +1 to Int and -1 to Wis they had in 2e?

Why, oh why, is Bard their favored class!?!?!?!?!

My solution- Change their stat adjustments to +2 Int and -2 Wis, change their favored class to Wizard. (Change the Elf's favored class to Ranger)

This gives them a niche, and makes them more interesting to play, in one fell swoop. I'm going to implement it in all my future games. :)

Whoa, you just made Gnomes a whole lot more powerful in your world!

Oh yes... they also have steampunk tech and "look down" upon the other, unenlightened races.

Of course, they also have a very low birthrate, and nobody can really take them seriously... :)... until they start lobbing fireballs and cannon rounds in their direction...
