Hi all. I'm sure everyone by now has heard about that the Danish Crown Prince weds Tasmanian Mary Elizabeth Donaldson today at 16:00 CET (10 pm EDT).

Being Danish and a turbo-royalist I am of course immensely proud of this. :)

If you're interested flip through the channels on your tv set, it should be broadcasted live anywhere in the world. BBC world, CNN, and most Australian and European tv stations broadcast it.

But of course you might not be near a TV set .. then there's always the good ol' trusty internet which has livefeeds.

Did they broadcast the Groom's Stag party last night?

Who caught the bouquet???

:p

The stag party was televised last friday, I was there :)

The bouquet is thrown after the wedding dance later tonight as danish tradition dictates.

I'm confident that it will.

HRH Crown Princess Mary may not have been born royal but she certainly is regal and Her Australian upbringing is maybe the perfect match for the danish temperament. As strange as it may sound the Danes and Aussies although being on the exact opposite side of the world are probably the best matched people you can get.

And they are so adoring together

They seem to be SO in love with eachother.

It was a beautiful wedding, there were some good speeches, especially the one by the crownprince himself, and there was a lot of people in copenhagen out to celebrate.

I must admit, that eventhough I am a clearcut royalist, I watched the wedding on TV2 Zulu. For those of you who aren't danish (most of you probably) I can tell you that they showed all of the same pictures as the other channels, but it was commented upon by 4 comedians all the time, and it was SO hilarious.

Long live the prince and his wife!

I occasionally flipped to German TV (ZDF) during the mass. It was immensely funny to see the Bishop being dupped in German
