2d Counters - storage?

Re: Tackle Box

I went to Wal-Mart and got myself a tackle box with 4 plastic drawers in a carrying case. It's great. I put similar monsters in each section, and I try to keep the drawers categoried more or less along the same lines. So if I want, I can bring one drawer, or I can bring the whole box if I don't know exactly what I want. it works very well, and its quite portable.

Tackle boxes are good, but what works just as well and is more portable is one of those thin sewing kit boxes. They have adjustable compartments for sorting and they are about as thick as the three corebooks stacked together.

I decided to go to Wal-Mart like someone here suggested and buy little baggies with holes and put rings in them to hold them together. They are 3"x5" and work perfectly. I have attached a picture to show how it looks. I found them in the embroidery/crafts section.

I bought the "one of everything" pack from Dragon Scale Counters. There are 96 baggies in the picture but they are nice and compact. Highly suggested!

After buying both of the Counter Collections from FDP (highly recommended - probably the most-used d20 product I've gotten after the core books) I realized that I needed a storage/organization method.

I decided to use ziploc baggies, sorted not by the alphabet, but by type. So I've got an Undead baggie, a Dragon baggie, an Animals baggie, etc. (I really should have separated goblinoids out of the 'humanoid' baggie, though...)

This is a "me too" post. Great minds think alike

What I do is go to a hobby shop and buy little corks, and cut a slit in them with a steak knife. I slide the counters in to the slit, and now I've not only got a way to store them where I store my mini's, I've got a nice stand for them. :)
