Best source for ships and seafaring adventures? (Now with Picturez!)

I haven't seen Kenzer's book, so I will just say that I prefer LI's Broadsides! over FFG's Seafarer's Handbook and Mongoose's Book of the Seas for naval ships and rules. However, I might be persuaded to change my mind if I actually saw and had a chance to look over a copy. The gaming store where I work no longer orders Kalamar books because they don't sell here...

In case anyone's wondering, here's a sample of what I'm cooking:

Im using Corsair by adamant and although it needs some conversion for my campaign to a non gun powder setup, it is quite good and well illustrated.

I might also suggest Salt and Sea Dogs.

Rather than go into details, I 'll just say that ENWorld reviews are here.

:)

I have to agree with you there. I have been amazed at how useful this book has been in preparing for a non-Kalamar campaign involving pirates... and yakuza (but no ninja or dinosaurs yet).

Seas of Blood has always been my favorite, especially with rules for boarding done after OMCS (Open Mass Combat System.)

Salt and Sea Dogs is probably the best for character options. Just wish it was open content.

Book of the Seas best feature is the magic and the random encuonter rules.

I'm ashamed to say I didn't know about this book until reading this thread. You can order a copy for me, and look at it before I pick it up. ;) My players are in Freeport, but I've been vague about the rest of the world, but it just might be time for them to travel around Renaria Bay....

What unholy crossbreed is this?

Actually, that doesn't sound entirely unworkable...
