Rinaldo reload his crossbow and shoot at on of the crossbowman, trying to stay in cover from there shooting.

Round 30
Irene begins casting her sleep spell. Charlyn huffs and puffs to keep up with the lightly armored Jezibel. He manages to swing at her retreating form, but can't hit. Jezibel keeps running, dodging between the horses as she reaches them. Ashnar is hot on her heels.
Rinaldo shoots at one of the archers, but his bolt flies high and disapears into the waves. Nurlan pauses slightly, hoping to be able to escape from the sahaugin clutching at him. Tor (NPCs) obliges, swinging his chain again, thwacking the fishman across the back of the neck and sending him plunging to the sand in a fountain of blood. Nurlan then dashes to Somac's side. The barbarian is lying on his back, wearing his armor, sand and blood have combined to form a thick blanket of grimy gore over his body. Nurlan can't tell, without close inspection, whether he's even breathing.
Tenebrynn bravely charges towards the nearest archers. They are standing about ankle deep in the surf. The elf's boots splash into the water by the time he reaches them. Holding his bloodied pick high overhead, he smacks it down into the sahaugin's head, sending another shower of gore over the sand. The sahaugin, as usual, dies instantly.
For what its worth, at this point I believe the party has killed 24 sahaugin
Tenebrynn's impressive record of carnage has evidently not gone unnoticed. The second sahaugin, seeing the pick wielding elf slay his companion, choses to dive back into the water, which evidently gets deeper quite rapidly. Two other archers have reloaded and fire. One at Tor, the other at Rinaldo. Despite his cover, the merchant is hit. Only a glancing blow, but one of many. (5 more pts dmg - bringing Rinaldo to 8. I"ll take your word for your HPs.) Two more archers reload.

Rinaldo takes a quick looks around, and see that the situation doesn't look good. His shoulder hurt too much, and as he sees the bolt in it, he contain himself not to faint. Amazing what the rush of action can me make endure.
He looks at the carnage on the beach. Those fishman are pretty courageous or foulish. We down most of there man and they are still figthing.
Spotting his friends away from the cave, he starts to feel a bit alone. He take full cover and take his potion out of his stock and drink it (OOC: Potion of Cure Light Wound)

Tenebrynn takes stock of the situation for a moment. Seeing the one sahuagin take off he roars out to sea at it, as if daring the creature to come back. Then he looks to Somac and sees that Nurlan has the situation in hand. Down the beach another pair of Sahuagin seem oblivious to the fact that their deaths are imminent. Tenebrynn charges the nearest one (s19).

Ashnar continues his chase, shortly wondering if he should mount one of the horses, but reconsiders. By the time he'd be ready, Jezibel would already be out of sight.

Irene's sleep spell does not have any evident effect. Charlyn jogs back to the beach. He sees only two sahaugins alive on the beach, but several more partly submerged in the water, as well as other suspicious fins circling about. Nurlan casts his cure on Somac's body. He can't really tell if anything changes.
Jezibel deftly swings up on the closest horse, right in front of Ashnar. Though not close enough to take an AoO, he is only about 10 feet away. He and Irene can still act this round.
Rinaldo steps back to gain complete concealment from the archers and quaffs his potion. It lifts his spirits a bit. (cures 3 pts dmg)
Tenebrynn charges the two archers standing in the surf. The closer one raises its crossbow defensively, but the pick drives through its meager defense, and penetrates its vile heart. Tor(NPCed), though badly wounded, moves up to support his companion, whirling his chain as he charges and bringing it down on the other archer. He strikes a glancing blow, ripping off some scales (4 pts dmg). This sahaugin braves the onslaught, and fires off his loaded bow at Tenebrynn, missing. One other sahaugin also fires at the elf, the bolt finds its mark, strking squarely in the chest and sending the librarian staggering back to fall senseless into the surf. (10 pts dmg). A couple more sahaugins surface to the west.
