As far as I can tell, a good time was had by all who came.

The house was quite full, but everyone got along well.

We ended up doing only 3 games in the in the morning slot (No Clones), and 4 games in the afternoon. People did a great job of keeping on schedule.

I had some really great roleplayers for "Elven Wedding", so it is tough to pick out a great moment, everyone played their character to the fullest, but here are some things I'll never forget.

The Elven Ranger used his 1 spell (entangle) to capture several bad guys, then the next turn called out "Drop your weapons and surrender" (readied an action with his bow). One of the bad guys succeded his escape artist roll, and the ranger crit'ed him dead in one shot. The rest of the bad guys surrendered imediately.

The expresion of the Half-Elf's player when she said "I have completed my quest."

When the goblin was told the rules of the contest (no using magic enhance yourself) and walked off saying to himself, "They never said I couldn't use magic aganst the other compeditors."

When the head of security told the goblin, "I never said I would help you get it back, I just said come to me before you do anything that would force me to throw you out."

The Hotshot Elven Warrior kept saying that there was only 1 target for him, the one that would get him the most points.

And last but not least, when the rogue said, "Oh, he's not the elf I am searching for. I'm so glad I gathered information before I attacked him."

teehee.

Silvermoon, if you recorded them all, we need to get all the OOC comments which resulted in choruses of giggles about the craft room from the Sidewinder game.

Home safe and sound. :)

Thanks to the Mav Wierdo family for hosting all of us. We had a great time, and it was good to see so many familiar faces again. More later when I'm actually awake.

In the afternoon slot, I played in "Underoo Avengers" which was off the charts good.

NCSUCodeMonkey doesn't just have props, he has toys.

Oh and Rel, if your reading this, you can't have NCSUCodeMonkey back. We are keeping him :p
(We may let you borrow him sometimes ;) )

Warehouse23 [The Jock] did a great job playing an ernest tank

Janiru [Dreamer] was Amazing both in combat (Telekinetically hurling one alien at another alien, so both take damage, is a very effective technique) and out of combat (When we came to the hall of mirrors, she informed us that she was afraid of mirrors (which was her own idea.))

Yttrai [The Bully] kept a running tab of how many days worth of lunch money people would "owe" her. (Personally I was able to get on her good side a couple of times, which brought down my total; Piratecat's character on the other hand was owing her a couple of months worth by the end of the game.)

Piratecat [The Nerd] played his character to the hilt (as he always does) to the point where when the aliens paralyzed him, the team considered if there was a way to unparalyze everything except his mouth.

Both of the sessions i was in were successful and great fun. Thank you GlassJaw for running Blacktarn - i enjoyed the entire session. I don't know the system at all, to know which rules were your and which were original, but the flow was just great. And the miniatures kicked serious posterior!!

And in the afternoon, NCSUCodeMonkey ran a great Underroos session. I have attached a small photographic journal of the journey through the creepy alien-infested carnival.

Originals at full size will show up later, these are hopefully small enough to not be annoying or against the rules or anything. What you are seeing is a hall of mirrors (with lasers ;)) a rollercoaster car, and the final battle against General Kang. And the hosts gorgeous kitty.

That was a blast and a great success. Mav, thanks so much for hosting and letting us pack your house to the gills (Well, if houses had gills...;)) and for the food, it was awesome. Piratecat, that was an excellent introduction to Warhammer with truly stunning roleplaying from everyone around the table. Heck, I had fun and I failed every check that I made :-D!

To all the Avengers, thanks for stellar roleplaying! I'm still hoarse from trying to talk over the lot of you :), and that's just the way I like it. Although the end was a bit rushed, the Avengers did triumph and oust the Mysterious Brain Sucking Aliens from Outer Space.

And finally, some quotable quotes. There were so many of these and I didn't get to write them all down:

"It's like shooting humans in a barrael." -- I think this was Maverick Werido, but it was certainly from the Elven Wedding game.

"So, you're here to save Gretta?"
"Oh? Yes. But I wasn't aware the girl had a name." -- Myself, as the pompous noble in Piratecat's WFRP.

"So, is that gooey or GUI?" -- Piratecat as the Nerd in Underoo Avengers, asking about the condition of an injured Alien.

Again, I had a great time! I'm already looking forward to the next one!
