Dagon and Cthulhu arrived Wednesday straight from SOTA.

Looks like the next run is scheduled for April 2007

Elminster is using blur.

I preordered Dagon over a year ago. I hope I receive it soon. In the meantime, it has been great to see Dagon really come into its own in the D&D game through Hordes of the Abyss and the Demonomicon of Iggwilv article in Dragon Magazine. Now I have D&D stats for my Dagon miniature.

Looks like the initial production run sold out with just pre-orders.

The second production run is listed as April 20,2007 at the SOTA website.

It's possible that the other sellers are just getting their pre-orders now and should be shipping soon.

Dagon is a solid size for the latest gargantuan vesion in Fiendish Codex and Dragon.

Cthulhu is about a size category smaller than the WizKids version. Of course the price is a size category smaller too.

That was a quick sell out. I can only say, "WTF?" I mean, how do you sell out of preorders? Does the damn thing come wit ha blue DVD reader or something? In manufacturing, even when trying to stay lean, you should be able to at least meet the preorders and still have stuff to sell to you know, the general public.

Oh well, maybe by preorders it means store orders and not individual orders. Varies dpeending on what store you're dealing with. I'll have to go hunting now.

According to my local game store/big online gameseller, the Nightmares line is only just hitting distributors, so the stores with direct contracts with SOTA have gotten theirs, but the others have not.

So, there should be a lot of Dagons and Cthulhus and the like sitting in warehouses waiting to be shipped.
