He started out in the Basic Red Box as a villain, then went on to be the wizard working for the guy in charge of the Black Eagle Barony (name fails me)

The Black Eagle Baron, aka Ludwig von Hendriks. A nasty villain of the classic "moustache twirling" mode.

thanks for all answers!

so...it seems like some say "alena", and others "aleena". my book say "alena", but its from portugual, so i dont know if something changed in the translation..

its funny how the cleric from the keep on the borderlands do the same thing as bargle (to fool a pc)

Aleena looks like Laurana from Dragonlance, just without the pointy elf ears.

I replayed that solo adventure when I finally got hold of the red box books again... I was all of 11 when I first got betrayed by Bargle! I think I was 25 when I finally put the bastard to the sword... It was deeply satisfying.
