Ya, well in my case it's just a pain - the code that changes my avatar every time the page is reloaded is being dropped (Well, I *could* use the code from CM - but honestly it's a vanity waste of the server's processor time we can do without).

Dev and www use the same cookie - logging into one logs you out of the other in most browsers. I say most because for some reason Firefox 3 doesn't seem to have that problem.

The home page doesn't have a log in because it is being built to be more or less 'static.' It will be able to function partially even if the database crashes

That's the default setting. I'll adjust it later, I'm concentrating on code issues, not settings.

No graphics will be changed at this point. Other skins will be built - starting with a phone centric skin.
