"I certainly hope so, though I doubt it will be so easy... Especially since, a bulk of us don't speak their tongue, or even the Undercommon one."

In response to Sarith, Ezraen looks to Erevan and Surana, "It does sound like it could be a good place to get some better weapons and armor. It may help us survive a bit longer, if Drum's folk cannot take us up to the surface directly."

Sarith "The Myconids are reclusive and distrustful strangers. They won't be able to take you anywhere. The duergar or the deep gnomes are your best bet."

OOC: You can continue to talk among yourselves or with the NPCs. Let me know when you are ready to go back to Ploop to talk about his 'favor'. You notice several of the kuo-toa seem be to keeping an eye on you...but you can't be sure. Their manners are so alien to you.

Ezraen frowns slightly in thought, "Okay, then we deliver Drum to his home, then we head to Gracklestugh or, what was it, Blingdenstone? Topsy, Turvy, do you know how far Blingdenstone would be from Neverlight Grove? Would it be farther to Gracklestugh or Blingdenstone?"

OOC:
For a refresher here is the thumbnail sketch of the area around the Darklake. It's not to scale...

Underdark Thumbnail sketch.png

To get from Sloobludop to:

Gracklstugh: 20 days
Neverlight Grove: 26 days
Blingdenstone 26 days

To travel between those three towns:

Gracklstugh <-> 12 days <-> Neverlight Grove <-> 16 days <-> Blingdenstone

If for some reason you want to go from Gracklstugh straight to Blingdenstone you can go by way of the Darklake and that is about 20 days.

Also as a reminder you also found a scrap of a map that seems to reference Neverlight Grove. For a reminder look here.

Sarith will stay with you if you go straight to Gracklstugh.

OOC: I'm ready to continue with the fish dude's quest. Just wanted to roleplay my bond some more before continuing, which I did. All set.

OOC: I am too. I think that depending on how dangerous crossing Deeplake is, I think we might want to cut the trip short and go straight to Gracklestugh. Ez will be mulling this info in his head for now, but I am good to move forward as well.

OOC: I'm content to move on as well.

As for Gracklestugh vs. Neverlight Grove: Sarith wants his revenge there, and he's more likely to succeed if we're with him. I don't trust anything he says about where we're likely to find help.

OOC: Oh I was just sharing the thought OOC. We don't have to decide now. It'll probably take a while to do whatever this fish wants, and circumstances may change. Just something to take into consideration.

OOC: As a player I am totally with you, but Ez is constantly trying to find his bearings down here. Some actual interaction would help him tremendously... :p
