December Issue Art Preview #3: The Mahaha. The third creature joining the special Winter Solstice issue is the Mahaha. This undead spirit wanders icy wastelands in search of victims. The mahaha's cold claws supernaturally cause those touched to simultaneously be drained of warmth and fall into uncontrollable fits of laughter, leaving their corpses' faces frozen with hideous smiling expressions.

December Issue Art Preview #4: The Karakoncolos.
The fourth denizen to join the December "Winter Solstice" Issue is the Karakoncolos, a malevolent monstrosity that stalks lone travelers during winter nights before blocking their paths, sometimes even drawing their prey's attention with mimicked voices. Once their targets are cornered, the creature presents them with a riddle. If the victims fail to answer correctly, the vicious karakoncolos brutally tortures and mangles them before finally devouring them. If the target answers the riddle correctly, it drives the karakoncolos mad and confused, leaving the monster distracted and vulnerable.
