I don’t see “isometric” in your prompt. Does it just default to that view?
It did. It is the nature of representational maps in general. They are not like a modern city map that is to scale. These kind of maps highlight the important bits of the location (and enlarging some of the more important buildings at the expense of others). They are not top down to scale maps.

Hope this helps.

Ah, so "representational" is the key word here?

Prompt: Detailed modern comic book art. A bald male human with pallid wet rubbery skin, wet violet robes, ink-black eyes, and an open mouth with an octopus tentacle coming out of it. He is walking towards the beach from the shallows.

This one was really hard to get past the censors. I'm surprised it even gave me this one.

Whoo boy! Some of those definitely fall into cultural appropriation territory.
Yup, it was either that or erasure, frankly. The Flan are a weird mix of Celtic and Native American cultural references, from whatI found, and the bare description of what theyblook like in the original Greyhawk set seems to hover somewhere around Australian Aboriginal when DallE interprets it.
