UNLOCKED: Trickery Cleric Subclass
This stretch goal adds a fun and disruptive energy to your game! Here is just a small taste of what is to come in this subclass:
- Take what you wish, cause mischief where possible, and gather secrets to share among your congregation—for information is power.
- Craft illusory veils to benefit allies and confound your foes.
- Flood the battlefield with an army of shadow duplicates!
The Trickery Domain is one of the highlights of Project: Chiron's Phase 1! This is our Discord-exclusive playtesting where you get an inside look at potential Kobold Press material and contribute to the future and balance of monsters and player options! You can join Project: Chiron by

UNLOCKED: New Monster by Guest Designer Dan Dillon
Dan Dillon is a well-known game designer at Kobold Press, creating over 50 monsters, dozens of player options, and many adventures. He has contributed to titles like the Midgard Worldbook, Midgard Heroes Handbook, Deep Magic, and Courts of the Shadow Fey, as well as Tome of Beasts 1, 2, and Creature Codex. He also worked as a staff designer at Wizards of the Coast.
Here are some of the monster themes he has designed in the past:
- Fey & Fey Courts: From Baba Yaga’s Horsemen (Tome of Beasts 1) to animal lords, and from fey lords and ladies to the mischievous Redcap (also Tome of Beasts 1)
- Demons & their Allies: From Demon Lords Qorgeth (TOB1) and Typhon (Creature Codex), to the Malakbel (TOB1) and the Derro Shadow Antipaladin (TOB1)
He designed many monsters that inhabit the Labyrinth, such as the Ratatosk, the Voidling, and the mighty Void Dragon. Let's see what insidious creature crawls out of his mind this time!
UNLOCKED: In the Court of the Clockwork Queen: level 4 adventure by Lou Anders
Lou Anders is another household name here at Kobold Press, contributing to
Tales of the Old Margreve, Margreve Player's Guide, Warlock Grimoire 3 and 4, and many Warlock Lairs. He is known for the setting Nørrøngard based on his Thrones & Bonestrilogy of adventure novels (Frostborn, Nightborn, Skyborn). Lou has recently contributed adventures to the
Blag Flag Adventure Packs and is publishing his setting under the Tales of the Valiantcompatibility license.
- This adventure connects the city of Aarvik in Lou Anders's Norrøngard setting with the Labyrinth.
- A dying member of a Labyrinth faction charges the characters with preventing a magical mirror from falling into the wrong hands.
- Failure could result in countless worlds falling under the sway of an ancient clockwork evil.
Get ready to see how your adventurers will travel through this extraordinary quest!
