Traders and gunboats are present in their tens and hundreds of thousands throughout the universes Traveller, and are amongst the most common ships found on the spacelanes. This book gives you more than 70 new ships in this class, to be used by Travellers, pirates, traders, government forces and corporations. Each vessel has a specific role in the universe, built to accomplish it with the best components available to its builders... or at least to a specific budget.

In Traders and Gunboats you will find ships of the Imperium and independent systems, of the Zhodani Consulate and the Solomani Confederation, as well as those of the Sword Worlds, Aslan, K’kree, Vargr, Hivers and Droyne.

Includes rules on how your Travellers can get their hands on any of these ships after their careers are completed and they are ready to voyage across the stars.

How many of those 70 have already appeared in earlier works? Traveller is notorious for re-issuing the same handful of deck plans. More importantly, will the deck plans be VTT-useable?

Off the top of my head, I don't think there are any - it is possible that there have been the odd remake from very old and/or obscure supplements of the past, but nothing comes to mind. As for the deck plans, they are all top-down, non-isometric, if that was what you were asking?

I think @Jd Smith1 is referring to the difficulty in extracting art that is imbedded in PDFs without artifacts appearing. So, the question would be, are the deck plans bundled separately as jpegs?

I'm pretty sure the Scout Courier deck plans have cropped up quite often. I only remember seeing the classic gunboat (can't remember the model name) plans once though. The Far Trader (with it's demountable fuel tanks) may have been printed more than once in the original run. My interpretation of your introduction is that these are all new deck plans (although possibly for classic ship stat blocks).

Ah, with you - will look into adding a zip file of the deck plans for ease of use...

As for the Scout/Courier and Far Trader... not sure you can do Traveller without those popping up again. Would be kinda like having Star Wars without TIE Fighters or X-Wings :) Wre have played with variants of the classic ships (because of their ubiquity, they will inevitably appear in-universe) but with our three new ships books we have made the effort to explore what else is possible across Charted Space.

Hope that helps!
