@everyone

Are there any products that focus on a new town (or maybe a frontier fort) that the players could build up over time?

That's something different than my original post, but I was thinking about other products that I may enjoy, and something like that could be fun.

Essentially, the settlement could grow with the characters.

Besides HOME, also in this space would be Stonetop. It comes up often for this kind of scenario!

Im already signed up for release of the City State DCC launch!! Can't wait. Even if my opinions are not popular to our august Morrus, I stand by what I say.

I hope to also adapt this to SD. I saw that Kelsey's first campaign was City State at her local FLGS.

Joe handled the situation with grace and more importantly humility. Hopefully he doesn't get crucified for being a fallible human being. Oh, wait, are humans fallible??

It is one of the core concepts in the Mutant: Year Zero RPG. You start out as a group of near-feral mutants who have been living in isolation for their whole lives but need to explore the surrounding lands for reasons, and in between expeditions you build projects that improve the Ark in various ways (primarily through increasing your food supply, defense, culture, or technology stats, but other effects exist).

I played the PS5 adaptation of the game. I enjoyed it a lot.
