@everyone
Are there any products that focus on a new town (or maybe a frontier fort) that the players could build up over time?
That's something different than my original post, but I was thinking about other products that I may enjoy, and something like that could be fun.
Essentially, the settlement could grow with the characters.
maybe somewhat bigger scale than you envisioned, the Kingmaker APAre there any products that focus on a new town (or maybe a frontier fort) that the players could build up over time?
It is one of the core concepts in the Mutant: Year Zero RPG. You start out as a group of near-feral mutants who have been living in isolation for their whole lives but need to explore the surrounding lands for reasons, and in between expeditions you build projects that improve the Ark in various ways (primarily through increasing your food supply, defense, culture, or technology stats, but other effects exist).Are there any products that focus on a new town (or maybe a frontier fort) that the players could build up over time?
Mutant Year Zero has a core 'community-building' aspect, in which the PCs direct the creation and expansion of a village (called an Ark, IIRC).Oh, "Broken Weave," another "build your community" I went looking for, with a pretty cool post-magic-apocalypse setting:
